What Ha Giang 23 is
Ha Giang 23 was started by someone born and raised in Ha Giang, who wanted travellers to see the whole region, not just the Loop, and to travel it slowly and safely. The name comes from 23°23'N — the latitude of Vietnam's northernmost point, at Lung Cu, on the edge of the Tropic of Cancer.
What we cover
Six areas of Ha Giang — Ha Giang town, Quan Ba, Yen Minh and Du Gia, Dong Van, Meo Vac and Hoang Su Phi in the west — with itineraries, seasons and practical planning. Since July 2025 Ha Giang has been part of Tuyen Quang province; travellers and locals still call the region Ha Giang, and so do we.
